This is from a news release regarding the Table Mountain fire on 9/29:

Quote
Hunting Season opened today. Please be advised that Washington Department of Natural Resources reopened some state lands to the east of the Table Mountain Fire. This includes the Colockum, Quilomene and Whiskey Dick's Wildlife Areas. State lands in the Naneum State Forest west of the Colockum Pass Road remain closed due to fire hazards.

I have a cabin up there west of the closure and it is all closed on the west side of 328.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

I have the same tag. Went to Olympia and couldnt get any answers. Called and spoke with Region3 WDFW Yakima and they felt the area would be open and available. Kinda sucks to think 329 will be open and not 328 which I figured if they open some portion your chance of getting pts back is nill.  If Clockum pass rd is not open I have nothing better to do than fight WDFW for my pts. More to come :)  I leave on thursday so I should know more soon.

The Colockum Pass Rd. is open.  You can hunt the Right side of the road.  The Left side is closed.  IF YOU decide to be on the LEFT side of the road, and are caught.. there are NO WARNINGS, and the fines are big...

This came straight out of the mouth of the DNR LEO I spoke with last Friday.

So hunt away up there, just stay on the RIGHT side of the road.  Would suck to get hit with a huge ticket up there just because you wanted to hunt the Left side...
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

Starting at 6 p.m., state lands will be reopened east of Coleman Canyon Road to the intersection of Naneum Ridge Road, including the areas of Coleman, Rue, Cooke, Four Corners, Jumpoff, Pole Flats and Stemilt Basin.
