Great check! Got two nice yotes, one looks like a wolf, one lynx and a few more marten boxes out. Beautiful country today!

If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

The ice is close to 20" thick now and not even December! Under ice beaver is way to much work  :chuckle: I'll try post a video later cutting out that block with my chainsaw. The last pic was a great way to end the day   ;)

We take newspaper tubes to a new level in AK  :chuckle: Those Belisle 120's would ruin your day. We've got 40 of those out. Few more out by the end of the weekend hopefully.

Forgot to mention had 15 caribou run down our trail today and almost run us over  :chuckle: I needed a big stick and I think I could have gotten one of the cows!

Under ice beaver set. Cutting out the ice block to find a froze in 330 spring. Should've made a snare pole set. Let you see the country as well in the VIDEO.

Hey Teacherman, I recognize the lake at the bottom of that  power line!  Not gonna name names  ;)  But always loved that portion of the drive to Anchorage.

Great ice fishing lake for lakers! We have half dozen marten sets up that power line. Most of our stuff is 60 miles further Northeast.

"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter
