Wenaha West Big Bull
« on: August 31, 2008, 03:16:24 PM »
Just talked to my grandpa today..and i guess he got drawn for a big bull tag.

I was questioning going back over for elk with the price of gas and work....kinda hard being gone 2 of 3 weeks  :(
Now i just have an excuss  :P So ill be probably head up to the cabin on twin buttes and help him get a big bull!

He's 72 and can probably out last me..he still farms everyday even though he doesnt have to, but to him if he wasnt out there it probably wouldnt be getting done right  :chuckle:

My cousins up at the cabin as we speak scouting...but if anyones got any "info"  ;) feel free to send me a PM.

Thanks

Casey

If I had a chance at 451, I guarantee you I'd take out a loan to pay for gas.

Rifle tag?

Yup modern firearm! You ever make it back to scout last weekend?

I hear ya on that. Just gonna have to watch my spending for September and should be more then fine. Stop buying new gear up for waterfowl  :chuckle: am pretty stoked this year cause will be the pups 1st year!
Usually use ranch gas while im there and fill up before i leave  ;) sshhhh ....which helps  :)

And to be honest I KNOW im not in that kinda shape at the current moment! Always have the mule up there but im hoping they bring the horses this year  :chuckle: Would much rather be soar from riding then not being able to walk at all  :chuckle:
