Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate. - Psalm 127:3-5

Don't let the dog eat it.  Thats how it spreads.  Burn the whole duck and throw the ashes in the Trash

:yeah:  Exactly!  Nothing new about deer or elk with worms.  I would say common as these (or most) parasites have been here all along and in most case our wildlife has evolved to deal with.  Just nature at work.

I was not aware of rice breast until this year. I opened up a fat green head and the breasts were riddled with the little parasites. That duck did not get eaten.

I shoot 15 birds a year with rice breast. Been that way for the last 6 years.

I had never heard of before.
