Are sports commentators not allowed express political opinions in general, or just on certain issues? On one hand I agree the guy is a moron and his opinions are wrong, but last I checked we still have the right to have and even speak out on our wrong opinions.Well, Rush Limbaugh was fired from after some comments he made when he was an NFL commentator. Why should Costas be any different.......

If you spend money or watch football for the next month, you deserve what you get. We need to send a message that we will not be bullied.
Rush Limbaugh's firing from NFL's Monday Night Football was over something he said about McNab that some people took to be racially offensive.
Need to hit the sponsors with emails tooThe half time show is sponsored by Toyota.
Jimmy The Greek was attempting (poorly I might add) to praise the black athletes of today and was fired in '88. Even though his comments were statistically true and were made on an NBC broadcast while working for CBS. His status in broadcasting at that time was not that much different than Costas.I could not watch any of the Olympic coverage with Costas either. He's always been an irritation even when he hasn't been making such ignorant statements.
