I'm a hunting guide so I get very little time to hunt except for wensday I get to relax but me I cant so I called my brother that was in town from Nevada and ask if he had filled his tag he said no they hadn't even seen a legal buck. I found that strange for the reason that we always find a legal deer there every year. I asked him if he wanted to go hunting he said that he would love to go but he didn't want to go back up there. I insisted we did because I knew there was a good buck somewere up there so morning rolls around at daylight we headed up the hill we walked all the way into the back of this canyon without seeing a deer. my first thoughts were there was a cat in the area again so I suggested we sit and glass hoping to maybe spot the cat. just as we were about to leave I saw a buck skylined 500 yards away I threw up my binos sure enough it was about a 24 inch big three point as we pulled a game plan together about a  20 inch 4 point appeared as we sat and watched the bucks go over a little knob we headed in there direction we belly crawled to the top of the knob I could see the three points horns  my brother slide up next to me pulled down on him out of the corner of my eye I saw this buck I whispered don't shoot big buck to my right  he slowly moved his rifle and shot this buck at 50 yards got to love a great stock when it all comes together they never knew we were there. the ruff score was 181 1/2 by far is best buck cant wait to see the shoulder mount. I'm thank full to get to spend a day hunting with him hopefully some day I will draw a Nevada tag and hunt with him

Can you add him to our 5 point thread.  Thats a perfect example.    I think its under photography or deer hunting.  Shouldn't be too far back.  Beautiful buck

Great photos.  I have heard of people using "taxidermy" eyes like contact lenses that they insert over the real eyes to get better photos.  Did you do that?  The photos do look like it is alive, nice job.

thats a real nice mulie right there. something seems off for me though. I have never seen a dead deer hold its head up for a pic. even in the pics where the 2 are touching the antlers, they are only using tthe tips of their fingers. that head has got to be heavy. nice animal for sure but pic makes be go hmmm.
