man everyone is turning food into friend. just think you could cook ut over a open fire and its a meal for 3 maybe 4 people. i would eat one.
Don't underestimate these things. I shot a steenbuck that is the same size but he got up and ran off trailing his entrails behind him. I followed the standard advice of shooting him in the center of mass to preserve the cape so it wasn't a heart/lung shot but still. A 7mag round through the boiler room would stop most of us, but not him.It wasn't a hard trail to follow and I finished him with the next shot. He was huge. His horns were at least a half inch longer than the one my friend shot.There is a pudu at the Woodland Park Zoo if you want to contemplate shot placement.
