Dang!  Don't tick him off or he will ram your shin!  Those things look sharp!
It is foolish and wrong to mourn these men.  Rather, we should thank god that such men lived.  -General George S. Patton

Exactly. We so that with goats. It would be fun to try with a mini deer.

lol I'm just saying I would like to have one for a home defensive pet. Say a Intruder breaks into your house at night, No lights on and unfamiliar with his surroundings. All of a sudden he/she hears little feet running sounds coming at him and all of a sudden BAM something just rammed the hell out of his shin. In a weep of pain the intruder exits the house never to be seen/ attacked again.  :chuckle:

Don't underestimate these things.  I shot a steenbuck that is the same size but he got up and ran off trailing his entrails behind him.  I followed the standard advice of shooting him in the center of mass to preserve the cape so it wasn't a heart/lung shot but still.  A 7mag round through the boiler room would stop most of us, but not him.

It wasn't a hard trail to follow and I finished him with the next shot.  He was huge.  His horns were at least a half inch longer than the one my friend shot.

There is a pudu at the Woodland Park Zoo if you want to contemplate shot placement.
