Hunting in july/august

do you guys think it would be inhumane to hunt coyotes in late july/august going on a camping trip to a wilderness area in late july.

How could it be inhumane?  Pups are already half grown by then.  I might be missing what you consider inhumane though?  I say hunt them right now when they're paired up, better chance of doubles and save some fawns.

if wolves were leagle would you hold off shooting any time of year?? as far as im concerned they are a legal preditor, pup or not.

By all means shoot away, and post some pics... we (or at least I) always enjoy seeing yotes taking dirt naps!

If you're in the wilderness, you might be more likely to see wolves than coyotes.

If you do get a large coyote, you might not want to post any pictures.

No law against NOT posting and/or bragging.  Same goes for making a bad shot or losing a wounded animal.  Or displaying a bloody animal on the front grill of your truck.  Sometimes it's better to just enjoy your hunt and save that memory for your pro hunting grandchildren's fireside stories.  People these days share way to much personal information on the internet as it is.

yeah, thinking on heading up to the pasayten wilderness area...my buddy told me he saw plenty of coyotes when he went for black bear. might give it a shot my buddy austin is going to shoot em if theyre within 35 yards with his 20 gauge and ill be using my .223 for bigger distance

I shot a young pup last summer when I was out. At the time I thought a coyote is a coyote, but I don't think I'd do it again. He was old enough to be alone but small enough to make me feel Bad about it.

Coyotes are overpopulated in most areas of the state and there is a year around season, that is why I support year around hunting of coyotes, we need to help as often as we can to keep their population in check.
