Favorite 3-D shoots on the west side?
« on: March 27, 2013, 01:26:09 PM »
Hello All,

This will be my first 3-D season in Washington, and thought I would ask for opinions about other members favorite shoots?  I use 3-D as a chance to just relax and enjoy shooting, and tune up for hunting.  Not in it for scores or trophies.

I've been to a fair amount of shoots in Oregon and Northern California (loved the Yreka shoot!) and some are more fun than others, as it is everywhere.  So which ones are "don't miss" for you?

My favorite is the one up north up by lynnwood. It is in july cant remember the name of the place. BRAIN FART.. The shhot has lots of ups and downs across canyons and a moose on the other side of a pond. Just like real hunting.

Living in Bonney Lake you hopefully have discovered the Skookum range on the south hill of Puyallup (Shaw Road).  I can't speak for the 3D shoot they have since I haven't participated but I really like the range.

I have only shot at skookum 3d shoots except for one on the east side this year. Great fun and practice for hunting.

Doug will be doing his weekly 3d course of 28 targets for 5 dollars starting April 11th going through the end of August.

There is also a safari shoot this Saturday at Skookum.

D rock you can shoot Friday, Sat, and Sunday instead of all 5 days.  The Wed and Thursday rounds are like a mulligan....
