I love my tight spot!

Just picked up one of the tight spot quivers, overall its a nice quiver. Pretty mad now though because while trying to mount it, the screws wouldnt tighten and stripped out my mounting holes completely. Not I cant even mount a quiver....period... dont know what to do now.
Wonder if that is covered under warrenty through Trophy Ridge's warrenty plan "defect in materials". Ive barely had it 6 months and never had anything else mounted to my site. Its basically brand new. Fml.. everythings so dosh garn expensive...

*Update* problem fixed. Tight spot works great for extra stabilization.

That sucks. That's why I don't work on my own bow. I'd surely do something like that and mess it up. I hope you're able to get it fixed.

Try getting a hold of the manufacturer and explain your situation. I stripped out a piece of my site on a copper John site and they were able to send me a new piece, hopefully trophy ridge will take care of you.

Well the sight is all one piece and theres just two additional holes in the back for the quiver mount, but its made of that ballistix copolymer stuff thats supposed to be good but its weak when its for threading. I couldnt even tighten it at all. They just kept spinning, even after removing the additional washers that come with the quiver mounting bracket.

Ill work on anything thats not the strings. Im competant enough for that atleast. Its literally JUST two screws. The problem is the mounting hole threads seem like they were weak or already stripped and wouldnt grip the screws.

Sounds like the sight was defective then and ought to be replaced under warranty.

can you get to the backside?  You could just get some new screws that'll go all the way through and put a nut on the back

Yeah its possible longer screws could help or the nut on the back. The holes for the screws go all the way through, like bobcat said though I think it may be defective. If those first threads stripped im sure the rest would to.

Depends if you want it to be permanent or not.  If you want to be able to remove it again you need to fill it and tap it to the thread pitch, or scuff the hole and epoxy the bolts in place but that's permanent.

Good news. Dug around in the garage for the same style threaded screw. Found one about 2x the length.... works like a dang charm. Woo. Just wasnt getting enough threading to hold on to. Screw barely went in 1/3 of the way into the site holes. Thanks for the good ideas guys. knew I could count on yall!
