Probably a swimming hole raft now.  Once I get that 10hp motor, I'll have to figure out where close to Shelton I can get Dungies.  Seems kind of a waste to load up a boat and motor and gas tank to drive it 100yds off the end of the dock for Red Rocks.

Still a ways to go.  I have a little bit of primer left I'm going to spend on the inside in a few hours.  Then let it dry hard for a couple of days.  This weekend, it's going to get it's paint job.  I also need to get some plywood and stain it and adhere it to the transom so the motor doesn't damage the paint.  Oh, and I need that 10hp motor.  I'm not brave enough to go out into dungie territory with only oars.

How does that painted fiberglass hold up to the inevitable scrathes and scuffs, say draggin it over some rocks or oyster beds...?

We always re-shot gelcoat over all of our repairs. My dad is really good at getting the pigment just right and blending it all together....

Not sure yet.  Probably not very well.  I am letting each coat dry for a number of days in the hot sun to get it cured as hard as I can.  I don't have access to gel coat applicators and can't afford to have someone do it so this is as best as I can get it.  I have plenty of paint for touch ups at seasons end.
