You can still get into the state land up the 4200rd, but there is a gate on the 4100rd just after the split.

Really,    I guess I should swing by and check it out. I have already scouted that area once. If its open thats where I wanted to hunt anyways.

All that land on the other side of the river i.e. up around the 200 and in the far back is prime. I just wanna walk in. I know where some big boys hang out. Seen them three years in a row during deer season

Well if the gate to the state land is locked, which it shouldn't be, I have plenty of cable to rip, excuse me, persuade a lock off.

I just got back from a day of scouting on the 4200-5112-5600-4250. All the state land is wide open as of today.

Not always. It wasn't in 2001 when I drew the Toutle archery bull permit. They had a guard at the gate on the 4100 (before the 4200 junction) to make sure nobody got around the gate or walked in. He told me to go hunt Ryderwood.

They did however put up some new fire danger signs at all the whore houser gates that weren't there last weekend
