You can still get into the state land up the 4200rd, but there is a gate on the 4100rd just after the split.

Really,  :tup:  I guess I should swing by and check it out. I have already scouted that area once. If its open thats where I wanted to hunt anyways.

All that land on the other side of the river i.e. up around the 200 and in the far back is prime. I just wanna walk in. I know where some big boys hang out. Seen them three years in a row during deer season

I just got back from a day of scouting on the 4200-5112-5600-4250. All the state land is wide open as of today.

Not always. It wasn't in 2001 when I drew the Toutle archery bull permit. They had a guard at the gate on the 4100 (before the 4200 junction) to make sure nobody got around the gate or walked in. He told me to go hunt Ryderwood.   :bash:

They did however put up some new fire danger signs at all the whore houser gates that weren't there last weekend
