Yep I'm an idiot.   :bdid: Doesn't help a week before the opener.   :bash: :bash

Looks bad... I think you should just stay home and take it easy on the opener... That way you won't have to deal with me being in "your" spot come Sunday... :chuckle: :sry:

Presents a good opportunity to remind bowhunters of a simple rule;

Never, ever try to turn your broadhead on or off the arrow shaft!!  Always hold the arrowhead firm and solid.  Use a table top or hard flat surface if needed.  Then turn the shaft only!

Broadhead wrenches are definitely effective.  But there is nothing safer than proper technique.

Glad you got away without any major damage klickman.  You're probably never a real bowhunter until you've dropped a bit of your own blood on the ground.  Maybe that's why Ted Nugent calls us all "blood brothers" :chuckle:

Not sure that wound is good enough to take the bloodiest H-W member title from Double J though ;)
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."
