Plenty of bucks still out there. Saw over 25 while coyote hunting out there yesterday and also pulled cams that have been soaking out there for two months. Hundreds of pictures of bucks.

Kill any coyotes?

I always shoot at one or two. I still hunt and glass a lot for them and always end up covering a ton of distance. I suck at trying to call them in so I just walk around.

Wow!!!!!!!!!!!! I just got back my Tooth report back on this buck. He is only a 3 year old. I for sure thought he was older. I can't imagine how big he would of been in 2 or 3 more years. I also looked up the amount of permits for this unit and they are taking 1 permit out and only giving muzzleloaders 2 now. Thanks F-up

That's about where I would have guessed, I'm glad they reduced the permits too.

:o Like shoot or rack score? If you mean shot with a muzzle the first Picture is my buck and it was with a muzzleloader or did you mean Rack score. I had it scored and it think it was 161 or 163 off the top of my head.

Hopefully I'll get my crack at them this season. I bought my MS deer and applied for  Desert ML and A MF with my Q choices. Gonna take some luck for sure!

I applied with only 3 for this unit for the first time with 3 point and was drawn. I didn't know what I was getting in to. I have hunted for coyotes there for over 17 years and seen many nice deer but I have never hunted them. The muzzle tag opens the same as Duck hunters Wow I didn't know if that was good or not. There were hundreds of people shooting at first light all around me but I think the deer are use to it. Good luck on you draw.

Thanks! I'm up to 6 points and this unit has always been my first choice for ML. This is the first year I've done the MS deer tag and applied for special permits with it. Fingers X'd!
