Big Bull Help
« on: November 02, 2013, 01:28:16 PM »
I live in the unit and have been having a hard time finding a bull for my Dad. I already shot mine. He has the Observatory bull permit. He has never shot a big bull (only one spike). Any sightings? We have hunted every day but yesterday...he only has 2 days left...anything would help. We have been in Lost Lake, Tamarack Springs area, rattlesnake, Whiskey Flats...all over really.

Our group has seen a few up wenas this year. I know the pains. Ate the tag in 2011 and my dad ate one last year. Sucks as this year without a tag they are a dime a dozen.

No bull for my Dad...hunted hard all season. Ended with busting a big bull in a creek bottom at dark while he was crossing the creek. Couldn't get a shot off...maybe in another 10 years.
