Is that unusual in Anchorage at the mall? (wearing flannel and packing a gun)

No the mall looks like your typical city atmosphere. Bunch punks with saggy pants and flat billed hats. I didn't see anyone else today in flannel, one other set of Carharts lol...

Drive past it all the time in South Anchorage but never stopped in. Shows like that kill me hard to watch, lol. Plus the one I watched they hunted the buffalo farm outside delta junction little ridiculous. In Alaska and they have to go to a high fence farm  :chuckle:

Went back to an area I trapped last season and actually the three seasons prior. Got nine snares set in all great locations plus a small bait pile. Hopefully in the next week or so it will produce now if all my snares don't freeze up tonight in this horrible rain snow garbage! Didn't even bother to try to set any footholds in this weather.

Well I just got an entire gut pile and hide from a cow moose one of my students just got on a hotshot hunt. It's in the back of my truck in my sled. I'd say it weighs about 400 pounds. Hoping I can actually drag this thing into a new area for a big pile. It's 37° out and myshy no good for my snowmachine. I'll get back with pics later.

I packed it into an area that looks almost to good to be true! I was just about exhausted by the time I found my spot! My sled is an Otter Magnum about 6'x3' with 18" walls and it was overflowing with parts. Its in between a swamp and a stream under a heavy spruce with trails all around it! The birds already had started to hit it before I left so I know the predators shouldn't be far behind. I only had time to set a few snares around it but will set it much harder when I check it in the next few days. Let the animals make the trails for me and back off the pile 50 yds following their tracks to set. I created 4 major entrances to the pile with brush around the rest that a wolverine wouldn't even want to mess with  :chuckle: This should really press them into my snare trails.
