I had to explain to the wife whats happening here last night...
Dan...you've done your part. take a buck that'll make you happy. thats all you need to do at this point...other than that you've left it all on the mountain.
good luck, and congrats ahead of time for a fantastic hunt either way it goes.
thanks for taking us along for the ride.

Garrett.....what were you guys feeling about this time last year?

Has to be kinda nerve racking.  The last day is no different than the first day, or anyone in between.....stick with your goal!  'Nother guy pullin' for ya bud.

Everyone needs to keep their fingers crossed for 300.  I don't know where he is hunting today, but the Methow is totally socked in with fog.  Absolutely no visibility.

i am soooo pissed at dan for putting me through this again!!! haha.  this time last year i was going welp its almost over thank god!!! We were makin our moves on our boy around this time. I know dad had decided on what he wanted, and what we had passed on in the 180's low 190's class. And he didnt want to settle, i wouldnt let him settle.  But it was definitly beating on our brain on the bucks we had seen and not taken.  But we were definitly ready and willing to take home just the raffle tag.  I am sure Dan will make the right decision.  On passing up the buck that he did when he was with me, i am not sure if he is still happy about passing on it, or is thinking he should have taken it.  I tried getting a hold of him last night, because i had a nice bucky for him today. But no word.

This is nerve wracking to say the least.

I say take whatever you want at this point. You have done all of us PROUD in your efforts.  I do not think a single person here would fault you for anything you have done or will do.  You are the man, and I look forward to buying you a drink when this is done.

I am going to find a way to get the time off to help next years winner if they take us all along for the ride like you have.

All of you gentlemen are to be commended for showing what our community is really all about.  I cannot begin to express my gratitude, and I am not even the hunter in this case!

Hey Garrett, did you guys have to pay a trespass fee, or did those people give up that buck willingly?
