is this post some kind of record for times viewed and number of comments posted, at least for this site. by the way 300 i'm glad you stuck to your goal, and wouldn't settle for less. It says a lot about the type of hunter and person you are. Hold your head up.

Also maybe I'll draw the raffle tag next year, and you can tell me where those few 180's were. Maybe next year they'll be shooters! :chuckle:

I'm hoping for those pics pretty soon of the ones you played catch and release on.  I can't remember if you said you got pics of the one up Ramsey, and it seems like there were a couple more.  I honestly don't care if they are blurry or if they are 300 miles away.  If you get a chance, I'd love to see them.

Here are the pics to go along with the story. As you will see I’m not a photographer. These deer are a good representation of what I was seeing though. Everyday I would see a couple of great looking 3pts and a couple of small 4pts. The two best deer of the hunt were not photographed, the first was the 4x4 that Garrett, Ryan, and myself saw on Dec. 20 (it’s Garrett's fault, my hands were full with a gun :chuckle:), and the second was a monster 3pt that 50Cal and I saw on Dec.23, he got away before I could dig out the camera.

The snowcat was mentioned throughout the hunt, here is one pic of it in action and one of it waiting to be dug out.

Here is 50Cal’s truck that we abbused.

Here are some Entiat deer, like I said before lots of 3pts.

Here are two small fours and large 3, not good pics, but the three was a pig. The two fours were taking turns sparring with the big three. I was waiting for one of their horns to fall off so I could get to it before Miles :tung:, but no luck.

Here is the big 4x2 that I mentioned on Dec. 18 along with some of the other deer that took off running every direction.

Here are a coule Methow deer (Ramsey drainage), the first two have a good 4pt frame, real tall, but either the horn was weak or broken.

There are a few others I put in my gallery, but I think these pretty much tell the story. Sorry in advance if you still have dial-up :chuckle:.

This pic is for Miles. With all the area covered, I found these three sheds that also tell the story of my hunt, a small 2pt, big 3, and small 4. The dollar bill represents the money I have left to my name after the hunt.

FUNNY!  We totally passed on this buck about the 8th of November!

Again I'm almost positive we passed on this buck around the 7th or 8th, and again on the 16th of November!

I think it's funny how we kept running into people during the November Rifle tags that kept saying they were waiting for all the migrators to be pushed down... funny how everyone thought I was full of it when I kept telling them I thought the majority of bucks were already down... Looks like very few more bucks got pushed down since then.   :dunno:   :dunno:

Dan went up all day today, there was a huge push of deer sunday monday. really big trails, deer all over. bucks i hadnt seen.  And saw a buck that you would have loved to have seen.  Basically what we saw but black horns and really heavy.  Looked like he just got in.  that big dump of snow definitly pushed some deer finally.
