Youth moose Mt. Spokane region help

hey everybody i was drawn this year for a moose in the Mt. Spokane region last year of my youth hunt so i got it at just the right time and i was wondering if i could get any tips or anything like that would be extremely appreciated.

good job, I haven't hunted moose before, but there is a lot of info on here about them.
do some searching in here and you'll find some great info. As I can tell, the guys that hunt them that are on here will be lots of help. Don't forget to take a camera, we want pictures and the story..................good luck.

I went wood cutting today, I literaly jumped moose every place I fell a tree.....I bet you are tagged out by now.

Sam, the moose are everywhere up there. shouldne be aproblem. Just put some time in and you will score.

I was up there a few times over the last 2 weeks and saw moose everytime.  Last time in I saw 4 bulls in 1 evening.  Nothing huge but a couple real wide buggers.  We did see 1 on the east side of the Thompson Cr. drainage that looked pretty big in the spotting scope.  But he was a long way off.  If you spend anytime at all glassing the clearcut areas in the evenings.... you'll get one.

ya well my tag doesnt start until the first and im heading over to spokane in about a week and a half so when we go up we'll hope fully get one that first week cause i got school and everything but if i dont my dad and i are going back up sometime in november hoping there isnt that much snow on the ground cause that might cause some problems.

sam november is the month that everything changes. on the first there might not be much if any snow, by the 31st there will likely be at least 3 feet higher up. don't be discouraged!

hey guys im going out tomorrow to go over to spokane and get to finding them moose and when i get one ill mmake sure i get some pics even though its antlerless only so it may not be as impressive as some of yours but when i get back ill post up some more about the hunt so far.

at least 5 cows and a 42" bull came out of the unit that I know of. one cow today was taken by a 12yo from selah.
