I have never done any competitive shooting, but $90 seems kinda steep even with a cash payout (referencing my experience with racing motorcycles...so, it's an Apples to oranges comparison)

That sounds like a whole bunch of fun!

$90 doesn't seem unreasonable to me; bicycle races, marathons, and other similar events also cost quite a bit to stage, and it is only fair to have the user (participant) pay.

Best of luck.  I don't own the necessary equipment, otherwise I would seriously consider such a day at the run & gun range.

so, quick question.

What NON-Magnum Calibre can go a mile and stay inder 3150 at the muzzle???

Would need a pill with a true 0.73 G1 BC...

I would love to own such an animal

The magnums are a little hard on the target is all, actually more the fastners and stands.  Not many matches allow them anymore.

Not sure what you are shooting, but my 6mm with a 105 Hybrid at 3150 does fine at 1750yds.  Still supersonic to a little over 1800yds.  Still has just enough elevation in the scope as well.

I would be all over this but the "precision rifle" part might be hard to come up with.   :dunno:

I pull the chute at 1200

if I went, I would be running my 270 winny with the 165 Matrix pills at 2850.

I have only taken it to 1400yards so far...lets just say, I have some practice to do!!
