When Whitetails have one side of their antlers deformed, it usually means that the opposite side of the animal had some type of injury. Not sure if that applies to elk, but does that look like an injury to his rear leg?

in 2005 Had this happen to me 6 x spike at 40 yards, spike side had 2 brow tines I watched it at 40 yards for 10 minutes. Later back at camp reading the laws I realized that was a legal spike because it didn't branch above the ears. I totally *****d that one up. I read the laws now!!!

I wouldn't. There appears to be a small branch off the top of the right antler.

Exactly  right side looks to fork better have good glass  and wait just a second more

just another reason for fish n feathers to collect more fine money to help wolves survive ,just another ,hurdle in life of a Washington state hunter, after some of the things I've seen there probably following him around, just waiting for a chance to ruin some body's day, like I said before shoot till the chamber is empty, get in the truck and come back the next day,at least the woods would be a little less gray,if you catch my drift,or am I using my imagination to much again ??? :bash: :bash: :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL:

That bull is a legal visit to the courts :chuckle: He has a sticker up top and no the eye guard is not considered a point if it's not branched above the ears. If that kicker measures over an inch your busted.

I got nailed for a buck in 2008 that had a third point that only measured 7/8" according to the wdfw. They refused to measure from the longest side of the point which is the outside of the point from the main beam and by doing so it actually measured 1-1/4 "legal".

I fought it in okanogan county court with a "Public Pretender". I used the "how to measure a legal point" as pictured and explained in the reg book. I was told by the judge that the description in the regulations was not accurate and did not apply, I voiced my opinion on the fact that the regulation book is a legal document of rules for sportsmen to follow so how could it not apply? He accused me of contempt, ruled me guilty, confiscated my bow, slapped me with a $5000.00, suspended jail time, gave me probation, took my animal and made sure to shame me for being from the west side.

The system is corrupt when it want's to be especially some small town courts that need to generate revenue. I screwed up by going with the bench trial because I knew my animal measured legal according to the regulation book and I fully expected the judge to do the rite thing and reprimand his game officer for bringing it to the courts.

Well I was sure wrong for trusting the system :chuckle: I will never take a bench trial if I'm ever in another trial situation :bdid: it will be a jury of my peers if ever again

If that side is clean with no kickers put him in the freezer all day long. Any spurs its not worth it.
