Does your moose tag show up if you go in like you are buying a license or tag?  That may be a way for folks to know if they drew

I have been applying for moose in unit 4 for the last six fricking years as I know where there are two bruisers pushing 50+; even though I am a resident I can't even get the sniff of a tag. I had two friends in our hunting party pull moose tags on their first try. Now there are far more hunters applying for unit 4 so the odds are getting worse...

maybe I shouldn't  tell you... but this was my first try at applying for a tag.  not ro rub salt in a wound... what hunt were you applying for?

Nothing would show up because when you put in for the draw you pre buy the tag.
