That sounds awesome! I'll take it just in case mine isn't salvageable.  PM me your contact info.
Thanks

Aggreed, but the throat patch was always a Lil off to the left when I shot it.
So in your opinion, if I can only throw another $350 into it, the best course of action is scrap the entire mount & see if I can get some one like bug-n-bones to mount them on a real WT skull?

What would I do with the form and cape?  Seems a waste to toss....
that's a dandy buck

I would too.  Rick will do you a very fine job.  Take a drive out to his shop with your mount and talk directly with him.  He'll give you the straight skinny on what can be done or not done.

He told me he sent the hide to a tannery :dunno:
Forgive my ignorance,  can't I just have some quality taxi fix the nose and a few other things?

Now he tells me he used some instant vandykes preserve  :bash:

Take one of the capes when you go see Cedar River.  The cape on that mounted buck is finished.  And like they said, it's not just the nose; the brisket was off center when he sewed it up and that pulled the throat patch, eyes and ears out of place.  I think you are on the right track T-Dozz.  Go have him redone.

I liked the advice about putting $5 a week into a "gun fund".  I have been doing that for the bow I just bought.  They are right, it builds up...
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Yeah, I saw that.  That's why I advised you accept one.  I don't think a taxi can save yours.
