Dads Take Your Daughters Hunting!
« on: December 03, 2008, 09:38:01 PM »
Don't you know they shoot better then us anyways...

This buck scored in the mid 130's. Three bucks in a row and 4th deer in a row. She started with a doe tag at 9 years old. Now shes 13 and chasing boys. Maybe she'll come back around when her boyfriend wants to hunt with her good old dad.

Great looking buck!  I plan on taking my daughter(s) hunting as soon as they are old enough but it will be awhile, since the oldest is not quite 3 years old yet.

Always have a great time with my daughter hunting, fishing, camping, or hiking. She is a regular outdoors women.
We are heading out for some turkey scouting this weekend, and she is excited.

O by the way, she's 16, has a steady boy friend and still loves to be in the woods.

My daughter passed her field test today and received her certificate. She has been hunting for a few years with me but now will have her own license and is just jazzed :chuckle:

My little baby used to hunt with me alot. We'd scout together, go shooting, you name it. At 14 she decided she didn't like it. There's now a boy of interest. I met him the other day. Doesn't hunt, doesn't fish, doesn't play baseball, football, golf, nothing. I just wanted to cry. The kid has NEVER BEEN CAMPING!!!!  Actually he's a really nice kid. Straight A type. I'd rather she date him then someone like me when I was that age. Maybe she'll come around.

Sounds like she bagged herself a future Democrat.

FWIW, remember I didn't "put my daughter through" she wanted to on her own and has been asking for 2 years now. ;) Just saying be careful, there were a couple kids there that you could tell were only there because their parent wanted them there, and it was obvious. Again, not preaching, just dont want to see you make that mistake :twocents:
