Looks as though the van I would consider gets 19-24 between city, highway, and combined. We get about 12-13 in the city and 15-16 on the highway in the gas chugging monster SUV. Last couple fillips were 10 in the city and 13 on the highway though

(That's with a 75mph posted speed limit). Maybe I should check my tire pressure, air filter, etc.
So @ $3/gallon, I guess we're burning $1,200 a year that we could save by owning a minivan ($100 a month), but would give up the convenience of a little more seating, 4wd if we ever want it (but honestly rarely need), as well as mom needing to get over the "I'm a minivan mom now

" adjustment.
