What an incredible story, adventure, experience, and buck, my heart is pounding through the entire thing, I almost start sweating when you talk about seeing him 40 yards away after you came back. Congratulations, You are setting a great model for true hunting, I can only hope to work hard enough to find my own experiences like that.

Thanks for letting us be apart of your adventure and a special congrats for doing it with a stickbow. I've been posting my stickbow hunts on ifish.net hunting forum and receive lots of complements, you might be interested in reading them and others who have contributed. That bow is beautiful, who made it and what kind of arrow setup are you using like weight of arrow, broadhead, how heavy is the bow at 28'' draw? Hope you have much more success.

70 pounds at 32". Its a little nicer than my old bow which was 80 something. My arrow set up is embarrassing light and I am working on that. I am shooting full length carbons with magnus stinger broadheads. I want to go to a heavier set up. I am not a gearhead so am probably not giving you the data you are after. Hornseeker on here made the bow. He built and sold the Sapphire Hawk series. I am fortunate enough to have two of them. This one is lighter to carry and lighter to shoot and is also faster. It has Carbon Zabrano limbs. "Zebrawood, with carbon laminate"

Congrats Bone, great buck and few are as deserving. I'll be sending you a PM in a couple of months to find out what you think of those Bushnells.
