So... I am looking for a new house as we speak... when I get it... I'll get my tools put back together... Carpsniper is probably gonna be number one bow off the press (although... Lady Luck may trump him... sorry dude)... and I'd still like to get hold of that over and under Mike...

As far as bowhunting goes... I reckon I'll have my LB in hand again next season. Was real happy to get this one under my belt, but at the same time...sorta heart broke I wont have an elk tag in november.

Doug... you need to get on some Idaho and or Washington elk!!

Great write up.  I know how that hike goes.  I took on an over loaded pack and we went 3-1/2 miles with a 118 lb pack.  Just about killed me.  Took me several weeks to recoup from that pack out.  It was two trips to get the elk out.  A brutal 14 mile day that I can still remember vividly.
