I think the foot pedal would be really handy as it would be nice to control it on and off as you feed, twist, etc. Its a two person job using hte on off switch but could possibly be done solo with that pedal. Not sure how much it costs.
I have the Waring pro mg100 it's only $80 these day's on amazon a lot less than i paid about 9 years ago it has done several thousand pounds of meat. I broke two kitchenaid meat grinder attachments before i got this one.I would buy a bigger one if were in the market for one today but i can't say i am dissatisfied or that it's not a good product it is still going strong.
Finally got through, was on hold for approx 2-3 hrs today off and on when I had a chance. Price is going back up. Was $509 last I checked but finally got through and got the $419 price. Call the exclusive order number if you have it on the back of your card for faster service. I hadn't noticed that before 1-800-555-6224
Mine has eaily ground 1, 000 pounds and shows nonsigns ofnslowing. It probably does 7 pounds a minute.
