went scouting yesterday for my late palouse  tag and finally seeing some scrapes. The Bucks are starting to get a little bit active but there is no chasing going on yet.

Found an Old timer setting on three does Monday night. Big revert buck,24" tall 2X2, watched him for about two hours curl his nose roll his head and inspect all his girls' butts. So they are starting pretty heavy. Just hope he is still there next Thursday.

A lot of wishful thinking this early!  :chuckle: It'll pan out almost exactly as every other year. Patience!  :yeah:

Rut will once again be Nov 15-25 NE WA whiteys the bulk of it...I drive 85 miles round trip in unit 127 to work and have yet to see any sign of rutting activity as usual this time of year. Just starting to see scrapes last weekend which means things are ramping up as usual

A friend of mine was elk hunting down in the Coweeman on Sunday and got some deer porn. A 4pt buck mounted a doe just 15 yds from him.

Saw 2 Young bucks tonight, the first one was chasing a doe with a massive swollen neck, as soon as they went into the brush another young buck came out from another direction and acted as if he was looking for a date. This cold weather coming in is gonna make things very exciting come the 13th. Can't wait!!

Insane mule deer chasing yesterday...

I have 2 bucks sparing on cam 4 days ago and a fresh scrape that wasn't there thursday. In the past 6 days ive had 3 new bucks I haven't seen come in. 2 4x4 and a 6x4 so that's promising.
