I think I see your problem. You should try setting the trap with the door open and see if you have better success. :boxin:

Hard to catch him with the door closed for sure. Hopefully it's closed right now..... with him in it!

I wait until the cat has been feeding for at least three days, put a leg in the trap and remove remaining carcass. But as you are about to see, I'm still learning as well!  :chuckle:    Stupid cats!
.

Pre baiting is to determine if a cat is in the area , not to fatten em up so they don't fit through the door :chuckle: I would remove the bait as soon as I knew a cat had fed on it. :twocents:

   Good luck

I'll have to check but it may be my smallest at 9"Wx18"Tx36"L
But looking at the pic it may be my 10"x19".  :dunno:   :chuckle:

I would think 18 tall would be plenty. I'm finding it hard to understand how the trap is being set off.

Well, no sign of the cat the last few days. Thinking of pulling out the cat cages until the snow goes away. Too many hound hunters running cats right now.  >:(

That's a pig of a beaver.  Seems like your doing pretty good with the mink?
