the area I fish for oversize is still mostly new to people

That dam has been there a long time Hoyt, if you think you found a new area to fish for sturgeon on that river, okay. ;)

I dont fish anywhere near that water

I seems as though certain hunting shows have no idea what the average hunter loves about hunting.  The "dicks" that are in it for the cash will give the anti's more ammo.  If the anti's ask these guys why they hunt, the only answer they can give is, " for the money".  Not meat, not experience and definately not "being out there". :stirthepot:

There is a blond guy on the outdoor channel with a modified mullet with long hair that wears an K-mart style cowboy hat, that is so annoying. Cant stan his show. He flonts his wife once in a while on the show, she is kinda hot. Anyone know who I am talking about?

Here's my take:
I don't agree with high fence hunting in general, and won't be doing any high fence hunts.  People are free to to what they want whether any of us agree or not as long as it's legal you won't hear me complaining about it.  I'm not gonna bang on guys who do it as it's their business.  I'll take it for what it is when I see people with their high fence trophies as I have my own opinion on what a trophy is to me.

Personally I enjoy do it yourself hunts and enjoy trying to find the best animal in the area I'm hunting. I love being outside, challenging myself physically and mentally, and testing my skills against the animals I'm hunting.
