Link while I was over there I didnt see any hybrids at all. But what I did hear was a Wolf howl  :bash: I talked to a GW early season up there and he said there hasnt been any wolf sign for a year or more.  :o

That doe in your third pic looks to have a pinch of blacktail in her. I've always noticed the varying degree of that stripe that runs down the tail, some more pronounced than others. That buck in the fourth pic looks to have a bit of one also. :dunno:

Thanks for the pics, last wolf sign I've personally seen was last winter cut two sets of tracks in the upper area of the unit.  First wolf I encountered in the area was back in 2003 if I recall in the Clark unit. A wolf howl is sure an eery sound.

It was definitely an eery sound to hear as to not hearing one before. Once I heard the wolf howl I put the binos up in the general location I thought it came from. Didn't see anything but since it's so open that wolf could of been anywhere.
