Colorado monster field pic.
« on: December 16, 2014, 05:02:28 PM »
Surprised I haven't seen this buck on here yet, but it's already been posted and I just haven't seen it. For inquiring minds, he was takin this year and supposedly going top 10 all time non typical. 308" No guide. Public land. Wasn't a legendary deer like Goliath or Popeye as far as I know. Just a smart old buck that got caught by a hunter out looking for meat to put in the freezer!

Everything is impressive about that buck. I like the fact that there's only 3" in deductions on that giant frame! I'd probably poop myself when I walked up to that beast on the ground.

300+ inches, but only 3" in deductions!  That is the most symmetrical deer I have ever seen.  Amazing.

It is, but the net score only has to do with the four point frame. All the trash is just thrown on top of the net frame.

So that is how the scoring works.  I didn't realize that.  Thanks.

Strip all the junk off and just look at the basic frame.  Incredible buck right there, and then you add in like 22 extras!  Incredible buck for sure.

You gotta be kidding me!  Jackpot!

Genetics gone crazy.  I can't even imagine what I would do if I saw that buck. I love that drop tine.
