My personal best
« on: January 16, 2015, 07:42:48 PM »
Had another great day on the snake river. Got down there around 8 and 1st cast I hooked into this buck. Measured 38" and weighed 18 lbs. I knew he was a good fish but didn't realize until my dad netted him and pulled him up just how big he was! Anyways the rest of the day went fairly well. Between 3 of us we ended up netting 6 fish with 4 of them wild fish that went back! Too bad too because they were all in that 10-12 lb. range!

Nice fish. I grew up in Pullman and never fished the snake for steelhead, just smallies, catfish and sturgeon. I kick myself every time for not trying for steelhead. Were you by wawawai?

Congrats on the monster steelhead.
