It was a fun hunt with lots of gobbling and strutting before finally getting a hold of this guy.

Took this these 2 toms in the southeast corner while hunting spring bear. We all packed shotguns in the truck for slow days. First one was opening weekend second was a couple weeks later.

My first double. I've doubled with others but never two Tom's, let alone two Tom's on my own.

I'd like to know how you pulled it off. Well done!

I can't wait until my little girl is big enough to hunt with me. She is way more patient than her brothers. Great pictures and birds seaduck

This turned out to be a quick evening hunt one evening the end of April. I was 5 months pregnant at the time and hiking up and down canyons was quite a chore! Got my tom though and was pretty happy about it. Scored out as the second highest scoring bird I've taken!

Congratulations that's a great accomplishment!  Hiking in canyons is a chore, doing it when you're 5 months pregnant is crazy!! Thanks for posting, great pic.
