Had to do some stuff with my boat making $60 an hour, so that made up for no fishing....   

I'm probably shrimping Thursday morning.  Might go look on Lawson Reef for more lost shrimp pots and make a few extra $$.  I pulled 12 on Sunday, though three broke off, including one of a friend of mine's.  One guy lost all four of his pots, but he got two buoys w/line and two pots back....

how do you find them and recover them? I lose alot of fishing gear there too

Yeah, he like fishing with me because every time we go out,he catches all the fish and I get to net or gaff them for jim 


But we always have good time telling lies, I'm mean, FISHING STORIES. ....lol

.       That's why I like to take people in my drift boat to net my fish and take pictures .Pete will contest to that . At lest you guys got a fish had 17 hours of fishing opening week end and nothing. Good job

That stuck boat situation brings back memories. I was with another member of this site, fishing the lower Columbia for sturgeon. It was about 10am, we just caught our second keeper and were going back to the launch. We had just got up on plane when I noticed some birds up ahead that looked like they were walking on water. By the time I could get the boat captains attention, it was too late, we hit the bar at full speed and face planted into the windshield. The tide was going out so it was a looooooong day.
