Anyone know if theres fresh tuna at the docks? Thinking of heading over this week sometime.

It's really early for albacore yet, and too early for fresh this far north. I'd try calling these guys. They will know if a boat is coming in from far offshore loaded with frozen-at-sea fish.

I would've thought with the warmer water this year, maybe they will be early. Also, wonder how much farther north they might head.

There were sport caught tuna 60 miles out of Westport the other day.

At the rate they are moving closer to the coast they should be beaching themselves by the time I go on my 2 day trip in August.

A commercial had 300 yesterday 40 miles out off the willipa said jumpers everywhere they are coming but hard to pass the salmon fishing right now its crazy good for kings.
