Bought a boat today.

 Been a long time for us, but now we will be back to crabbing, and fishing.  Picked up a 16 foot bay runner with a 40 horse Yamaha on it.
 Now to complete the boater cert online.
  Any suggestions on a close to launch crabbing trip in the salt for next week.  I'm confident the boat will be fine, and we plan on taking it to lake Stevens first.  It's like starting over after to years without a boat.

Remember what they say.  The best two days in a boat owners life is the day they buy their boat and the day they sell it    I know nothing about crabbing in the sound but spent plenty of years in the S sound chasing the almost non existant salmon.  Congrats on your new vessel sir!

Head south and drop pots in 40-60 feet of water wherever you see other pots, but give them some room.

Awesome boat!  Just in time for crab & salmon season.  Another good launch is at Kayak Pt.  Good crabbing all around.  Enjoy!

Boat is the first expense, then the nickel and dimming comes along for all the additional gear you may need or think you have to have.  Gets me in trouble constantly.

Stay to the left of the yellow can. Turn right past the jetty and you will be sitting there for a while
