Leaving tomorrow for deer/elk in north Idaho. Ten days with the family and hopefully full freezers!

3nails,

I believe The Vug is shut down, at least it was last year between Nov. 8th-23rd, 2014 and this June when I was up that way.

Our annual white tail camp will be the 7th thru the 22nd this year.  I will only be in attendance the 7th thru the 11th then have to head home to help my 13 year old with his quality mule deer draw hunt.

Should be an above average year after the mild winter last year.  Good luck everyone

Bummer! Oh well, no takers anyways. Every rut report that I've read so far is predicting an early rut. Most say peak chase activity the 1st through the 11th. You may hit it just perfect!

Whitetails here in NW MT are showing signs already

Saw a couple 3 year old bucks sparing the other night

Might be early this year

It seemed a bit early last year also we set camp on the 8th and I shot the "double money" buck on the afternoon of the 9th.  (We have a pool, $ for first buck and $ for biggest buck.)

Found this guy (seven scorable points) on a property that only my friend and I have permission to hunt. After not tagging out on this last trip, I am chomping at the bit to get back over there and see if I can't put him in the ground. Odds are I'll probably shoot a doe, but holy crap he would look nice above my fireplace.
There is something just indescribably painful about being stuck behind a prius on the interstate.

Leaving the evening of November 10th after work for a 10 day white tail hunt. We hunt from Emida north to Clarkia. This is the third year that I've been fortunate enough to go. I LOVE IDAHO!
