escort waterfowl shotgun?

LOW buget.  H&R makes the auto excell for $340 at Bud's gunshop, while the escort list for $489.  You probably can get one for less at local gun store

I have that same gun in black. I haven't shot it much be when I did it was smooth and very fast. I like it alot.

My son shoots one.  Replaced the compression rings right off the get go as they broke.  The replacement fit tight and didn't cycle correctly.  It's about as cheap as you can get with a gun that still has functionality.  I don't think I would purchase another one.

Browning, Winchester or Benelli would be a better choice.  I wouldn’t go cheap on an autoloader.

I know I have the winchester pump thinking about upgrading that the the winchester autoloader.

You might check these out. Buddy of mine just got the inertia and says it's just like a benelli. He said he paid $400.00. only a 3" chamber.

Below 1200, then you have lots of choices.  Weahterby SA08,   SKB ISS300 are just a few.

I love my Stoeger and I am super happy about the purchase. I only had two misfires with it and those were in the first box of shells through it. I put a case through it last year and haven't had a problem since. If you were closer I would let you shoot my gun and see if you like it. That being said I would still look at a Franchi or Berreta A300. When buying an auto loader I wouldn't go super cheap because you will end up with more hassles than shooting.

I've put a ton of shells through my Stoeger in the last 5 or so years with zero issues.

I get the rings at Parkrose Hardware( ace).  I go thru at least 2 in a season.

You can replace the choke tubes with any choke as long as they are  the Ber/Ben type thread.

Got mine all cleaned and ready for the season opener.

I shoot a stoeger m3500 now, which is great. But I shot a escort mag for about five years prior and it was a decent gun. I used it for turkeys, with the small barrel and waterfowl with the long barrel. Started to misfire and jam a lot towards the end but it lived a rough life. Thousands of shells and hundreds of miles on my shoulder, even backed over it twice with my truck. Definately got my money's worth

I'm a Beretta fan, but I've only hear good things said about the Stoeger M3500.
