OPEN ALL SEASONS ON A WEDNESDAY
« on: March 02, 2016, 01:24:03 PM »
This would give the hunter that has the passion to take the days off work,a quality hunt. Also gets the animals a chance to spread out, so its not COMBAT HUNTING.Give each group two weekends and 3 extra day's, close it on a Sunday.

You seriously judge people's passion for hunting by what and how many days they take vacation from their job?

Or we could model it after west side pheasant hunting, and you have to choose even or odd calendar days.  :chuckle:

So you'd rather have a mule deer tag for late Sept/early October, instead of the first 20 days of November?  :dunno:

BAD IDEA.

We are having enough trouble recruiting kids into hunting.

How about we let WDFW sell us an extra "early start" stamp that gives us three extra days to hunt before everybody else?  Or sell us a two day stamp, and have us apply for the third day through the permit system?...   JOKES!

I see no need to monkey with the seasons...
