Wyoming I am going to apply for points only for deer, elk, and antlope.
Arizona I applied for a couple of late rifle tags units 10 and 23.
Utah applied for deer, paunsagant management hunt.  Applied for a early muzzleloader hunt for elk.  And points only for desert sheep and antelope.

And there is a 99.999999999999999999999999999999% chance that I won't draw any.  But I still apply.

Tags that I hope that I draw are Montana deer elk combo.  Nevada antelope and maybe Nevada deer.  I think that I am going to apply for some of the early rifle seasons for deer.  With four points I will have decent odds.

Will see.

Am debating whether to start building points in AZ, I don't need a great unit but a good hunt down there would be fun.

Building my points back up in AZ. I think I'll have 5 or 6. Sent that off today. Utah will be either Book Cliffs Archery or points for deer. I have 4 there. I don't know if I'll even start on elk in Utah since they changed it.

Will be really interesting to see what happens with the NM sheep odds...having to front $3K (new this year) versus an $8 app. fee in this economy should really improve the odds.  Still debating on that one myself.

Idaho had a 75% winterkill last year on whitetails. Check with the biologist in the area that you want to hunt before planning a trip. I won't be going back for a couple years until the herd rebuilds. FYI

I'm not applying to AZ or UT- Points Only for WY Goats/Mulies/Elk.

Also on my app list:
CO Mulies
MT Deer/Elk Combo
NM Deer/Elk ... considering sheep and goats but I need to check the new app rules first.

...and of course all bigs in WA sans bear.

I haven't made the leap to the states that don't refund the liscense fee.... I'm taking the shotgun approach to the cheap states and building points where I can.
