Well... I guess I couldn't help myself today
« on: April 11, 2016, 09:49:00 PM »
Finally had one of my arguements with Carter again on Facebook...

Seems like a bi-annual event for us.  :chuckle:

Guess I just like  :bash:
I am not opposed to golf, for I suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering deer.

It just makes me feel like our state is daft for putting him on the wolf recovery board :dunno:

Feels like when the state DOES reach the goals of the wolf recovery plan he will still turn right around and pull the rug out from under their feet by riling up the masses for no good reason other than to continue to profit on his books.

He at least advised on it.. I cannot find the literature to back my claim of him as a member currently. Still. :(

Like arguing with the sea lion and seal advocates on the Columbia River.  Instead of the ODFW & WDFW getting sued by HS and other groups each time they tried to remove them.  If the changed there approach and just said they would not enforce any punishment on those that removed them lethally, the problem would fix itself in short order.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

They did that in Idaho a few years back. Letter from I believe the Governer saying that no F&G money would be spent investigating wolf kills. I swear Idaho is like everything I could hope Washington could ever be. No point system either!

It just makes me shake my head... I know I shouldn't bite but when people look to him as an expert, and he purposefully incites anger towards everything from hunting to ranching to feeding stations.. I can't help it. I'll be good for another 6 months or so now, I suppose.

You did a great Job Hirshey!

Demonizing ranchers etc. who use public lands is just another tool to influence those who have no clue. After all the wolf is really about habitat, ruining ranching, no more range permits, and destroying hunting so there will be no need for hunters in the woods, it's called shutting down public lands. It's a bit slower then what happened in Oregon with the Hammonds, but the out come will be the same.

Good job offering a well written counter argument.  You cannot sway those with their heads buried but you definitely can sway the fence sitters.  Keeping quiet is basically turning the mic over to the wrong side.   Thanks and keep it up!   :)
