Prince found dead

Like him or not, the dude was seriously talented. Sad day. Kind of makes Chyna's death back page news (if it  wasn't already!)

His Purple Rain concert was one of the best I've been too, and the lace the ladies were wearing...... :yike:

Heard it on the radio a bit ago; a shocking loss for certain.  Of note is that he played almost all the instruments on his first 5 albums, and, was self taught for the most part.  He was one of those artists who's music wasn't stereotyped by race, similar to J Hendrix, to his listening audience.  Yes, I'm saddened that such a gifted artist is gone at such a young age.  RIP Prince.

He'd canceled a concert last week and made an emergency landing in IL due to what his press guys said was the flu. I guess the money and fame doesn't matter much when it's time to go. He sure was talented.

Talented, but nuttier than a damn fruitcake.

This interview would be funny, if it were not so sad:

I don't know, JD, he seems very well spoken to me in that interview.  (Although I shut it down when he mentioned the word "chemtrails."  I won't go there.)

We may find out someday that we've been on the wrong side of that discussion. I'm not a chemtrail guy either, but it wouldn't be the first time our government has done something like that to us without our knowledge. He was extremely well-spoken and intelligent.

:yeah: Yea, I am kinda of a chemtrail guy, but not a fanatic. Believe or trust our government? Not a chance.  RIP Prince...

Chyna was found dead today as well; I thought that she was much more entertaining than the artist formerly known as Prince was.

RIP both of you.

To each their own. Dissing a dead guy over for another dead guy. Unique approach, CP.  :chuckle:

What may seem odd to one person, can be another persons normal.  As I've gotten older I've learned to be much more tolerant to other peoples likes and dislikes.

I can't say I was a huge fan of Prince but, whether you liked him or thought he was a total flake, there is no denying Prince was wildly talented and at only 57, far to young to pass away.  RIP
