Anyone use a peep sight lens/Magnifying lens?

Radsav, does Radical do anything here? I found out about these last week and Specialty Archery makes this product. In case you're as ignorant as I was on this topic, it's a lens that goes into the peep sight, so you don't need to wear glasses in the field. Has anyone used them? Do they fog up like glasses and if so, does the anti-fog stuff work on them? I love the idea. You get measured for a lens which not only gets the pins in focus, but the target, as well.

Would this be legal for hunting in wa, as regs state no hunting with a bow equipped with a scope? Or would you be using this for competitive shooting?

Magnifying was a bad choice of words. It's corrective. The Archery shop I use told me it's legal in WA. But, you've got me thinking that I may write to WDFW and get an official ruling.

PMan, do you have a link for the lens you're talking about?  I think it may be the solution to a big problem I'm having so I'd like to find out more about it.

My long range vision is good but my close up vision has degraded significantly to the point that I need to use reading glasses all the time.  Without the readers my sight pins are blurry and I'm even seeing 2 pins for each actual pin, the real one on top of the one that turns out to be an illusion.  With readers my sight pins are in sharp focus but then, of course, the target becomes a blurry mess.  I'm sure I'm not the only one experiencing this problem!

I used one for a bit shooting 3D with a scope on my bow. I wouldn't want one for hunting with tho. Get some crap in it and your done if you need to shoot can't just blow through it like a regular peep.
A smaller peep size will sometimes clear up pin issues.

As far as I'm concerned Its legal. It does no magnification attributes' only vision correction. You can actually get them custom made to your eye's corrective power. Dont ask me where from though I have no idea. Ill hunt in my contacts.

I'm unsure that enforcement would ask your opinion were they to see someone using it. They're not legal. It was a discussion in the last couple of enforcement meeting in Oly. They're all in the loop.

I made a mistake. The lens I'm referring to is the "Verifier". The "Clarifier" is to be used with a scope.

I think the fact that it has a lens is what will make it illegal in WA for hunting.
