these years to draw stats are all relative according to what tag you are putting in for.
if you're putting in for a Alta rifle tag it will take 12 points, but it doesn't take more than 3 or 4 to draw a blue mountain foothills whitetail tag...
something to remember.

These result's are actually a lot worse than I thought they would be. Most Western States have a higher percentage of draw areas that average more like 4-6 years, instead of 8-12 years to draw.

Yeah but that's because Washington has relatively few special permits, and general seasons in which there is an unlimited number of tags sold. Those other states probably have most, if not all, or their deer hunting by permit only.

My luck in the draws hasn't been all that bad. I drew Umtanum in 2000 with 3 points, Entiat in 2004 with 4 points, and Grayback in 2008 with 4 points. All rifle buck tags.

Have done pretty good on deer permits, drew Ritzville with 4 points, then a doe tag with 1, then Entiat with 1. So I have had 2 late buck hunts in the last 5 years.

Took 12 to finally get an elk tag though.

I drew the ML Blue Mt. whitetail buck permit with 2 points, I had drawn it every year for 4 years until they did a re-draw in 2007, hence the 2 points for 2008's draw.

I've put in for: Green River A, Mission, Alkali, LT Murray and a couple others over 8 years, no dice. I'll need venison bad enough next year I may put in for a doe tag :dunno:

Wow guys. I have drawn Toutle archery bull tags twice, three late buck tags and a moose tag since it started, looking forward to one of those raffle tags this year to go along with them. I have also drawn 9 of the last 12 years for Montana Combo as well, and many more before that I just didn't keep track until the Washington point system started.

I drew that late whitetail tag two years in a row and my dad has gotten in 4 out of 6 years.  I guy I worked with drew it 9 out of 11 years.  It wierd how it works because some of my friends have 12 points now.
Yeah but at least it will eat good...

I missed this poll somehow. To late to vote. Anyway, I have 10 points for deer and elk. Have not drawn anything in this great state of ours. :'(
