Some years ago, she lost quite a bit of weight doing this. I did a little research and in about 2000, I did it for about 3 months and lost 45 lbs in conjunction with daily exercise, getting ready for elk season. My cholesterol and blood pressure both dropped considerably during that time. I had had a 250 cholesterol and a blood pressure of 140/90. At the end of that period, my cholesterol was 210 and my BP was 120/80. I did eat other proteins and almost no carbs. I took a gammaglobulin test on Thursday and on Friday it came back with a blood sugar level of 85, which is healthy. I was formerly at 105 in April; not quite pre-diabetic but not great. These are non-fasting numbers. My cholesterol is 260 and blood sugar as of this morning is 205 , yesterday blood pressure was 155/84

I'll try those Tea Eggs, BC, but I have to figure out a way around the flour...

There's gluten free tamiri, which is basically soy sauce without the added wheat. But you definitely don't need to add any to the pot for the eggs. We don't add sugar, either. Let me know how you like it.
