Kuiu Yukon rain gear, tested, passed!

I spent a couple nights in the backcountry this past week, anyone that was hunting Monday on the west side knows how wet it was.  I wore my Yukon rain gear, tops and bottoms, all day through waist high huckleberry bushes.  It was like walking through a pool!  I figured my sleep that night was going to be very miserable.  Got back to my pup tent and my pants, shirt were dry!  Not bone dry but just barely damp, very much impressed with my purchase, worth every cent!  My only two negatives, they are a bit loud against the brush and a bit heavy for backcountry packing, but again worth every penny.

Yep, tested mine out Monday and Tuesday in the backcountry as well. Worked great! :tup:

Love my Yukon gear!  Just be sure to keep it clean and spray at least once a season with DWR spray. The brush will eventually wear away the DWR layer and it needs to be restored.

Had my Yukon jacket for 4 seasons now hunting in Westerb WA and SE Alaska and I love it!

do you clean it some other way than putting it in the wash on cold? I definitely want to take care of it, thanks.

i spray it off with a hose whenever I get home and wash on cold a couple times a season. They do have laundry detergent that adds the DWR but it costs the inside and outside of the jacket which diminishes the breathability so I like to rely on the spray.
