I respect that you don't want to post it, but it's too bad. I think you are robbing him more backs slaps than criticism. Anyone criticizing anyone for there legal animal isn't worth the air they are breathing anyway. Tell him congratulations. My first three Bulls were spikes. I'm not ashamed.

Theread has all ready been some stupid comments from some stupid people on other social outlets and they are members of this forum also. In fact I'm sure their reading this thead Well the hunt didn't turn out quite like we had hoped. Opening day we looked at 11 bulls but nothing that would break the 300 inch minimum we were looking for, Saturday the elk were somewhere else and the morning waso slow, that evening we located the bull we were after and put a play on him. My nephew took his shot but missed the bull. We spent the next morning making positive that it was in fact a miss. That evening we moved back to where we started and tried locating a bull, we got a reply from a good bull and started working on him, he was big and definitely in charge of that hill side it was very exciting to say the least. Bugle buster had him coming right in when the kids whispered to hisee dad " I see an elk " and his reply was " if it's the bull shoot him!" From 40 yards behind them we couldn't see any of the action but we did watch my nephew move his rifle 30 degrees to the right and immediately take a shot. There was some confusion because the bull we were calling to was still on the hill above us . We ran up to my nephew to give hugs and high fives and to lay eyes on his bull which he made a fantastic heart shot on at a mere 25 feet. It was a small satellite bull who had snuck in on the calling completely silent, I will not be posting any pictures of the bull or my nephew on this forum due to the few bad people on here who can't just be happy to for a kid who shot his first bull but would rather talk about a wasted quality tagI've seen the bull. That kids face made it a trophy if you ask me.
